Portobello Toddlers Hut provides a fun and nurturing free play environment for children to explore, play and grow.
Here at Toddler Hut children and families receive a warm, individual and supportive welcome from our small, experienced staff team. The free flowing indoor/outdoor, play centred environment enables children to explore and develop at their own pace.
Portobello Toddlers Hut playgroup provides care for children from 2.5 to 5 years old. There is a waiting list in operation, children can be added at 2 years old. Portobello Toddlers Hut is a voluntary non-partner provider service. Please note that Portobello Toddlers Hut is open only during Term time.
I love the friendly, calm and reassuring atmosphere.

Sessions & Fees
session times
Monday – Thursday: morning, afternoon and full day sessions available.
Mornings: 8.30am – 11.30am.
Afternoons: 12 noon – 3pm.
Full Day: 8:30am – 3pm.

Involvement
Parent/carers can join our committee or stay and play sessions. This gives parents and carers a great opportunity to engage with the setting and become more involved with the group.
I like that the focus is on learning through play.
Fundraising
Portobello Toddlers Hut is a self-funding playgroup and a registered charity. Along with the advantage of our own premises, we have the responsibilities of the upkeep and maintenance of the building and equipment. Consequently we need support in our various fundraising activities throughout the year. Parents and carers will be asked to support Toddlers Hut in various ways throughout the year. The location of Toddlers Hut is fantastic and the staff are excellent.
